Manchester United fans furious over ‘stupid’ Marouane Fellaini transfer business

After months of speculation over his future, Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is set to sign a new deal at the club – and the fans are furious.

The Belgian international’s current contract expires on Saturday and he has kept Jose Mourinho waiting for months, refusing to sign the new contract on offer from the club.

The United boss is a big fan of the 30-year-old and is determined to keep hold of him but some of the fans are less than happy that he will be sticking around for another two years.

Fellaini was David Moyes’ first signing in 2013 but despite winning the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League he’s a divisive figure amongst United fans with many hoping he would finally be leaving this summer.

But now the fans are going to have to watch him play for another two years.

Absolute joke that we appear so desperate to keep Fellaini. Even more embarrassing after he's turned down multiple contracts and we've still left one on the table. Keeping dead wood players like him are part of the problem, as if Barca, Madrid etc would do what we have

No positive.

Marouane Fellaini staying after publicly slating fans, club and management. He'll get a pay-rise, a contract that breaks the policy of the club and worst of all he'll stop us signing another CM to help improve the side.

There is LITERALLY no upside to this deal. #mufc

Bullied over a new deal.

Getting bullied by Marouane Fellaini. This is us

Mourinho’s finished.

We beg Fellaini to stay but drive a massive talent like Anthony Martial out. José Mourinho, he’s actually finished. Finito.
